My friend Katie came over this morning for a playdate with the kiddos and her 4 month old daughter, Kyla. Here is a cute picture she took of the three kids on the couch.

Flag Day

Charlie saw his first fireworks last night at Quincy's Flag Day celebration. Even Amelia seemed to like them, or at least not to be too traumatized by them, even though it was way past her bedtime. Charlie even ran into a few friends there too. Here are a few pics, of fireworks, Charlie and Anthony, and of Mike camped out on the grass with the kids.

Eating An Ant

Charlie claims to have eaten an ant last week. As his story has not wavered, I am beginning to think it is probably true.

When asked why he ate an ant he states he was "testing it out" because of a story Mike told him about accidentally swallowing a bug while riding his bike when he was a kid.

When asked what the ant tasted like he says it tasted like "lemons or lemonade"

When asked if he plans to eat any ants in the future he says no.
