The 5k I have been training for -- Run For Your Lives! the Zombie Infested 5K -- was rescheduled for September 7th, so in the meantime I have been progressively increasing my running, loosely following a training program for a half marathon. For the past two weeks I have been running 4 times a week, doing 4 miles, 2 miles, 4 miles and 6 miles respectively. For some reason last week's 6 mile run was easy and this week's near about killed me.
Tomorrow marks the start of a new week in which I will be running 4.5 miles, 3 miles, 4.5 miles and 7 miles -- wish me luck!!
