9 Year Well Visit

Charlie had his nine year check up today. He measured/weighed in at 58 inches tall and 91 lbs. This is up quite a bit from last year on both counts -- almost 3 inches in height and a whopping 13 lbs from last year. His pediatrician said that he still considers his BMI to be in a healthy range but that another year or two of 13 lb weight gains would not be good ;-) So we are stepping up the exercise --Charlie wants to train for  a 5k with Mike, which the dr said would be great for him-- and we will be more vigilant about limiting the sugary snacks. Also hoping that the summer spent at the Beverly Crest summer camp playing tennis and swimming every day, will help. 

Charlie checked out with 20/20 vision and didn't need any shots, so he was a happy camper about that :-)
